As long as these trees are well cared for at home they can last a few seasons, eventually becoming too big to be brought into the house. These are a fabulous addition to any garden or patio after the Christmas season is over.

Norway Spruce Cut Christmas Tree
The Norway Spruce Cut Christmas Tree (Picea Abies) is a stunning, ready-cut real Christmas tree. If you’re a stickler for tradition, the Norway Spruce is for you.
Considered the oldest traditional Christmas tree, it is bushy and well shaped with short, light green needles. This is all combined with a wonderfully fragrant pine scent. It must be watered regularly to keep needle drop to a minimum and it has sharper needles than some other styles.
These trees look spectacular when decorated with lights, tinsel and baubles. However, please be aware that Norway Spruce trees do have small prickly needles and therefore are not recommended for houses with small children and pets.
For many years the Norway Spruce was the most popular Christmas tree variety in the UK due to the fact it grew locally and naturally produced the classic Christmas tree shape. Still grown throughout Northern Europe, it is a fast-growing species and tolerates most soils but does require good drainage.
Every Christmas, Oslo, the capital of Norway, provides the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree in London with the country’s name-sake spruce.

Our history

Nordmann Fir
The Nordmann boasts one of the best needle retention qualities of any Christmas tree making it the number one choice among our customers. The short, dark green needles are soft and flattened on the twig, with a waxy cuticle that gives the tree its shiny appearance and helps prevent drying.
A slightly wider tree than the Frazer Fir, its evenly spread strong branches are perfect for holding large or heavy ornaments. The Nordman does not have as strong a smell as the Frazer or Blue Spruce but it does have a fresh piney smell once in your home.
